What exactly makes our Hotel am Gottesauer Schloss in Karlsruhe so special?

The Hotel am Gottesauer Schloss is now a digital hotel, meaning that the following procedures can only be carried out online:

  • filling in the registration form, which will be sent to you by email before your arrival
  • checking in online; you will then receive your room code
  • checking out online; you will receive the invoice by email to the email address you have provided
What is the check-in process?

24 hours before arrival our guests get a link for online check-in. 
Once this has been done, you will receive your room number and the access code to enter the room from 14:00 on the day of arrival.
If you need a key, please contact our reception.

Is there a key to the hotel? If yes, how do I find it?

No, there are no more keys in the hotel but a combination code with which you can enter the main entrance and your room from 14:00 on the day of arrival.

Is there still a regular reception desk. When is it staffed?

Don’t worry, the hotel still offers a regular reception desk, but the reception hours vary. You can find the corresponding reception hours directly at the hotel.

How or when do I pay for the accommodation?

You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, debit card or PayPal. Please note, however, that payment must be made online and cannot be made directly at the hotel.
Cash payment is not possible.

How can I cancel/change my reservation?

Simply send us an email to info@hotel-gottesau.de. We will try to accommodate all wishes and changes.

Is there a daily room cleaning service?

We offer a daily basic cleaning of the rooms, but it is up to you whether you make use of this cleaning service.

What is the standard check-out time?

You must check-out at 11:00 am.

Is there Wi-Fi in every room?

Wi-Fi is available in every room, and there is usually a little information sheet on our tables with the Wi-Fi code.

Can I book breakfast as an extra?

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

The breakfast times are as follows:
Mon-Fri: 7-10 am, Sat, Sun + public holidays: 8-11 am

How do I receive the invoice for the stay?

Once you have checked out, you will be able to check your billing address again and change it if necessary. The invoice will then be sent automatically to the email address you have provided.

Is there a parking lot at the hotel?

Parking is available in front of the hotel or unrestricted on the street. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold/reserve any such spots, it is strictly on a first come first served basis.
